Intertech’s task was to design a new public space exhibiting a quality outdoor urban space in a cityscape. An entirely new courtyard was created for the existing office building. The plaza is an inviting change to the paved court previously existing. Our goal was to provide space for public gathering. Intertech incorporated casual seating and a water feature that reflected the contemporary clean lines of the existing building. The plaza was created for this seventeen story, 219,523 square feet building in the heart of Tucson’s central business district. Intertech began space planning and tenant improvements for office spaces in this building in1988. We have completed over 173 separate projects for this property alone. Intertech Architecture services for this building included creating the development plan, preparing all construction documents, procuring all permits, and serving as construction administrators.
