In response to the growing epidemic of opiate addiction, CODAC approached Intertech Architectural Interiors to create a new Medication Assisted Addiction Treatment (MAAT) Clinic. The goal of this project was to provide both a therapeutic and safe state-of-the-art facility for staff and members. The two story, 20,000 SF building that has been largely unoccupied for roughly 20 years, underwent a complete renovation to achieve this goal. We worked closely with CODAC throughout the project to design a space that met their programmatic needs – consisting of a number of clinical offices, therapist offices, case management offices, dosing program, meeting rooms, conference spaces, and community rooms. We worked closely with the DEA to ensure that all safety precautions were incorporated into the design and executed to the highest safety standards.
